The Many Different Familes That Make Up Our World

My husband, Duane, comes from a very traditional family.  His Mama and Papa were married to each other until death they did part.  Mine on the other had was not.  I thought it was neat growing up and having so many different grandparents and great grandparents.  My maternal grandmother and grandfather were  married three times each.  Their daughter, my mama, followed suit.  I had two different dads growing up.  I saw my natural dad just a few times a year.  My step-dad was the one that raised me and I know the most about.  My paternal grandparents were not traditional either.  Grand-daddy was married twice.  When he married my grandmama that was it.  She didn’t hold with anything but till death you do part.  She did remarry after he died, so that was okay.
